Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy explains how CyberDefender365 Inc. ("CyberDefender365", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit cyberdefender365.com, request a demo, or receive emails from us. It also explains your rights and how to use them.
Who we are
CyberDefender365 Inc. is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at hello@cyberdefender365.com or by post at [TO CONFIRM: registered business address].
What we collect
- Information you give us: when you request a demo, we collect your name, work email, company, company size, primary need, and whether you have opted in to marketing emails. If you email us, we keep that correspondence.
- Analytics data: if you accept Analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location. See our Cookie Policy.
- Technical and security data: our hosting and security provider processes your IP address and browser information to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use your data and why
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Responding to your demo request and following up about it | Demo request details, correspondence | Legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries |
| Sending marketing emails (security insights, product updates, events) | Name, work email, marketing preference | Consent. Only if you tick the marketing box, and you can withdraw at any time. |
| Understanding how the site is used so we can improve it | Analytics data | Consent, given through the cookie banner |
| Keeping the site secure and available | Technical and security data | Legitimate interest in protecting our site and visitors |
Not ticking the marketing box has no effect on your demo request. We will still respond.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- HubSpot, Inc.: our customer relationship management and email platform. Demo requests, your marketing preference and the consent wording you agreed to are stored in HubSpot.
- Google LLC: Google Analytics (only with your consent) and Google Fonts.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, security and content delivery.
We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
International transfers
Our service providers are based in the United States. If you are in the EU, UK or another region with data transfer rules, your data may be transferred to the US. We rely on [TO CONFIRM: e.g. the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and UK Extension, and/or Standard Contractual Clauses] to protect it.
How long we keep it
- Demo requests and correspondence: [TO CONFIRM: e.g. up to 24 months after our last contact with you], unless you become a customer, in which case our customer agreement applies.
- Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep a record of your opt-out so we don't email you again.
- Analytics data: [TO CONFIRM: Google Analytics data retention setting, e.g. 14 months]. Cookie lifetimes are listed in our Cookie Policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy
- correct inaccurate data
- delete your data
- restrict or object to how we use it, including processing based on our legitimate interests
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that has already happened
- opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data under US state privacy laws. We do not sell or share personal data in that sense.
To use any of these rights, email hello@cyberdefender365.com. We will respond within the time the law requires, usually one month. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Unsubscribing from emails
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link and a link to manage your email preferences. You can also unsubscribe by emailing hello@cyberdefender365.com.
Cookies
We only use non-essential cookies with your consent. See our Cookie Policy for the full list, or change your choice using "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and access controls on the systems that hold it.
Children
Our site and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we'll highlight them on this page.
